Most of us have heard of Chris Pratt, a Christian actor who has starred in several Hollywood mega-hits, including the “Jurassic World” series and “Guardians of the Galaxy.”
Over the years, Pratt has caught flack for outwardly expressing his Christian views. Pratt was introduced to Christ as a teen in Hawaii, when he also received a prophetic word that he was ‘destined for great things’. Pratt was working as a restaurant waiter at the time.
The Western Journal reports that Chris has recently signed on to co-star in a new sci-fi movie entitled “Mercy” which is scheduled to start production this spring.
Rebecca Ferguson will be co-starring in the movie about a detective who had been falsely accused of committing a violent crime. Ferguson most recently played Lady Jessica in “Dune: Part Two.”
But what caught my attention in the article was a statement that Pratt made at the 2018 MTV Movie and TV Awards when People Magazine reported that during his acceptance speech after winning the Generation Award.
Pratt told the audience, “You have a soul. Be careful with it. God is real. God loves you, God wants the best for you. Believe that; I do.”
Then he added, “Learn to pray. It’s easy, and it is so good for your soul.”
Amen.
